JAKARTA — The fifth member of MONSTA X, Lee Jooheon, being the third member to enlist in the military service by 24th July 2023. Before his hair was getting cut by Hyungwon, this shocking news happened to be delivered first through Fancafe by Jooheon himself, approximately a week before the enlistment day.
As it was written on MONSTA X’s official Twitter, Jooheon or also known as Joohoney, said that he will come back healthily and safe. He also said that he loves to meet MONBEBE again once he has done with his military service that is expected to be finished around 2024.
Previously, Shownu, the leader of MONSTA X was being the first to enlist before finishing his duty in the middle of June 2023. The next time, Minhyuk became the second to enlist, before Joohoney finally joined him to receive his basic training.
The sudden enlistment made Joohoney need to back down from his position as the host of M!COUNTDOWN after finishing his solo promotion with his album, LIGHTS. However, many fans still cheering on him as he stands out the most as the cutest one of the group, holding his crown as the “kkukku-kkakka” founder.
